You need at least a dual core cpu to get the best out of the recording device, it really is pretty hefty on the resource and you will need a good 1gig of ram free on your pc.Settings: (on average)
RES: 1280×720 (720p HD)
Bitrate: 10
Always match the source (60fps @ 720p) this will ensure youtube encoes right if you upload.
Filetype for youtube: .mp4 (.wmv is good too)
Never change or resample the frames per second on videos, let youtube do that – otherwise your resampling it, then youtube = lots of quality loss.Just look at my videos in HD.. or even without HD the details are pretty amazing overall.
I use Sony Vegas 8c pro to edit the raw files.
